Sample Checklist of Items Needed
to Prepare Annual TIF Reports

- Certificate of Equalized Assessed Value (EAV) for each of the municipality's TIF Districts as provided by the respective County;
- List of current Property Information Numbers ( PINs) for each TIF District, along with current Sidwell Maps of each TIF (if available);
- Final municipal audits covering all funds associated with each Special Tax Allocation Fund (or individual TIF audits) for each fiscal year since each TIF District was required to have an audit (over $100,000 in increment). Draft or final municipal audit for most recently completed fiscal year;
- Detailed summary of municipal or privately reimbursed expenditures to date related to each TIF District (or at least during the most recently completed three (3) fiscal years);
- Copies of original or most recently amended TIF Redevelopment Plans for each TIF, bond/ note ordinances, redevelopment agreements, internal budgets, feasibility studies, capital improvement plans, etc. pertaining to existing or anticipated redevelopment projects within each TIF District;
- Copies of County Treasurer's Office receipts related to incremental tax revenues received by the municipality over at least the past three (3) years;
- Notification of any protests on the part of property tax payers within the TIF Districts within the past three (3) years;
- Records of TIF property acquired, held for resale and/or sold by the municipality;
- Historic or recent Building Permit information for properties within each TIF District; and
- Any additional information related to ongoing activities within the TIF Districts (minutes from Board or JRB meetings, studies, sales tax information, job creation, development proposals, contacts/ inquiries from overlapping taxing jurisdictions, etc.).
